There's something about the first week of September for me... I've had canceled weddings in 2015, 2016 and now, in 2017, as well. I don't know if it was always for the best, but last year it was for sure! As soon as I found out I was no longer booked for that weekend, I wrote to Ruxandra and Matt asking them if they found their photographer yet. I was lucky they said no and so my adventure with them began.
Provence is very special! It's hard to explain, but there's sweetness in the air and the sun seems to favor that part of the world. It wasn't hot, it was just perfect weather. A wedding in such a nice place... sounds like a dream! Add a beautiful castle and very friendly wedding planner, Marion (www.weddings-in-provence.com), and it is already too much. Oh, and the wine... of course!
No wonder Ruxandra and Matt told me it's their favorite place on Earth! :) And they totally fit in this scenario. Their enthusiasm and energy throughout the day was fantastic and shooting them, their families and their friends was pure joy for me from start to finish! I hope you can see this from the pictures.
Ruxandra and Matt, thank you so much for your trust, patience and kindness! I am so lucky to work for people like you. I have a feeling we'll meet again someday! :)
